425 East 58th Street
Sophisticated Urban Living at 425 East 58th Street
Located in the heart of Manhattan, this residential project at 425 East 58th Street is a study in modern materiality and seamless architectural integration. Working in collaboration with K-DA Architects and General Contractor George Mihalos, Gregory Hitchcock Design provided comprehensive kitchen design and custom millwork that defines the home’s elevated aesthetic.
The kitchen serves as a focal point of the residence, featuring the Maxima 2.2 collection by Cesar. The design utilizes a tactical mix of finishes, including structured lacquer for the tall units and matte lacquer for the sink wall, all anchored by durable, high-performance Dekton countertops and integrated Miele appliances.
The craftsmanship extends into the living area, where a custom Walnut veneer elevation creates a warm, organic contrast to the kitchen’s sleek surfaces. This bespoke millwork ensures a cohesive flow throughout the open-plan space, blending high-end Italian cabinetry with custom New York craftsmanship.
